2026 Municipal Elections

Message from Reeve Murray McIntyre:

I am announcing that I will not be running for office in the upcoming 2026 Municipal Election this October. I have been on council for 20 years, 8 of those as Reeve. It has been an honour to represent the people of the Municipality of Louise.

I wish to thank all the staff for their professionalism in working with council. I wish all continued support of new council in delivering the much needed services to the people of the Municipality of Louise.

The municipal elections for 2026 in the Municipality of Louise will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2026

The following offices will be elected for:

• Reeve (1)
• Ward 1 - 1 Councillor
• Ward 2 - 1 Councillor
• Ward 3 - 1 Councillor
• Ward 4 - 1 Councillor
• Ward 5 - 2 Councillors
