Policies

In an effort to support a skating environment that is safe, inclusive and respectful,

Rock Lake Skating Club has recently adopted several policies related to the

management of disputes and complaints. You can find our updated policies below.

Skate Canada takes the safety of all registrants and members extremely seriously. It is

Skate Canada’s goal and commitment to be a leading Safe Sport organization in

Canada and internationally that treats individuals with respect, dignity, and fairness in

alignment with its core values, whereby all participants are entitled to feel and know

they are safe, and in an environment that is free from all forms of misconduct, which

includes maltreatment and other prohibited behaviours, as defined within Skate

Canada’s Misconduct Reporting and Resolution Policy (“Policy”). In order to serve our

community, Skate Canada has an independent third-party reporting process for

misconduct & maltreatment called Skate-Safe. To learn more about the Skate-Safe

reporting, prohibited behaviours and more, please visit
