Public Library

All residents in the Louise area are invited to visit the local library located at 148 Moffat Avenue W, housed in the beautiful former United Church. The library houses hundreds of books for all ages. We have a wide selection of adult fiction in both regular print and large print; junior fiction and non-fiction; Christian fiction; non-fiction; children's books; DVDs; and audio-books. The library also hosts a number of services such as free wifi, computer access, and printing and copying. As well, with a membership, you have access to the entire provincial database of e-books, audio-books, and more online resources! Lending Library

The lending library was started in 2019 in memory of Melanie Elizabeth Klassen. It is located in the Memorial Garden of Crystal City. The library is open seasonally from spring until fall and open to everyone. You can take a book and leave a book if you choose. The library is emptied at the end of every month and restocked with a new supply of books.
