Emergency Guide

While in the Municipality of Louise, the disasters are few, the potentials for them have increased over time. Disasters can be caused by severe weather like ice storms, blizzards, rain and wind storms, tornadoes, fires and many others. Some disasters may not affect all of us, however, you may be one of the few that will be affected. We want you to be prepared for the first 72 hours of any disaster, until help can arrive, depending on circumstances.

While most incidents are over in a short period of time, some can take a few days to overcome. Being prepared makes you more comfortable while you wait for help to arrive. Emergency preparedness involves 3 steps:
